Production Soldering Tech

Must be comfortable working in a small production line fixing production rework as well as building engineering prototypes 100% by hand. Duties may include both through hole and surface mount as well as fine pitch parts. Prefer experiences with BGA rework, but this is not required. Knowledge and / or certification to IPC-A-610 and IPC7711/21 prefered. A minimum of 3 years experience required.

PCB Layout/Engineering Support

Job requires detailed knowledge of Orcad CIS and Cadence Allegro 15/16 and RF layout design rules. Must be a self starter with experience working in an engineering group. Duties will include creating schematics, working with part database, creating bills of materials, assigning internal part numbers, creating mfg packages, creating Gerber packages, requesting PCB quotes from vendors, building parts, completing layouts based on inputs from onsite engineers. Experience with mechanical drawings a plus. Experience with high volume production rules and processes strongly desired.

RF Engineering Tech

Duties include managing small lab in support of production and engineering. Must be able to test and debug both production issues as well as new engineering prototypes. Candidate should be comfortable using Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power meters, RF probes, and Signal Generators. Candidate should be a self starter who is comfortable working independently. Duties will very from day to day to support most aspects of the engineering and production environments. Experience with Orcad a plus.

RF Systems Engineer

Candidate should be experienced with RF system design including cascaded calculations for gain, NF, IP3, and noise. Candidate should have an understand of synthesizer design including jitter/phase noise analysis. Candidate should have at least 5 years experience working with both TX and RX systems selecting key parts in the system design. Candidate will be required to develop requirements for a wide range of systems including, RF ID tags, 802.11, GSM base stations, UMTS base stations, WiMax Systems, power amplifiers, base station filtering, FM transmitters, TDOA systems, modulators for satellite transmission, multicarrier WCDMA.. Experience with some of these systems is a plus.

Duties include detail design of complex circuits including, synthesizer, power amplifiers, LNAs, gain blocks, filters, IQ modulators, mixers, and complete systems. Candidate may take a lead role on very complex designs. Responsibilities will begin after requirements definition and end with the completion of the product development. Candidate should have strong attitude for both design and debug.

Embedded Software

Sagrad has a need for support for multiple projects including several complex projects with multiple PIC processors needed to complete real time control of RX and TX systems. Some of these include control of transmitters, syntheses, AGC circuits. Other projects require security features such as enabling a product for subscription use, and insuring security features are not disabled. Exposure to DDC and DSP systems a plus. Some tasks may include simple windows GUI. In addition to embedded programming, experience with the following a plus, PIC, Blackfin, Perl, Mysql, C++, VB, PHP, HTML, AJAX to support other projects.

Entry Level Design Engineer

Tasks include assisting senor design engineers in complete development process. Candidate will assist with part selection, capturing designs in Orcad, assistance with layout, initial product debug, transitioning a design to production. 1-2 years of experience preferred.
